Some people say they can't stand church because they think you have to dress up for meetings; it’s boring; out of touch; unfriendly and irrelevant; the kids hate it; it’s money grabbing; you’re made to feel guilty and Christians are hypocrites to name just a few!

Do you have to dress up?
People wear whatever they want and what they would normally relax in; all sorts of people with all sorts of tastes. Just be yourself.
Are new people welcome?
We love meeting new people whether you consider yourself an atheist, don’t know what you believe or are already a Christian looking for a church. You’ll be welcomed at the door on a Sunday and there are people on hand to show you where everything is, take you for a coffee and let you know about the kid’s programme if needed.
Are we after people’s money?
A collection is taken on a Sunday morning as part of the worship but you are not obliged to give anything unless you want to; you can let the collection pass you without any embarrassment. We don’t go on about money or have continuous fundraising events.
Are we out of touch with the real world?
For us, Christianity is about all of life – relationships, work, leisure, family, money, etc. The Bible teaching on a Sunday relates to living in the 21st century and during the week our Small Groups provide real community.
What’s on for the kids?
There is a fun, relevant and action packed programme for children 0-18 years on a Sunday and 6-18 years during the week. Check out our youth work and children's work. They’ll love it! All our children’s workers are police checked and we have a clear Child Protection Policy in place. Parents are welcome to meet with the children’s workers and sit in on the programme if they wish.
Are you made to feel guilty, and are we hypocrites?
Christianity is not about a lot of rules and regulations, or do’s and don’ts. It’s about the forgiveness that comes through Jesus Christ for the things we’ve done wrong, and God’s amazing and life changing love for us. We are certainly not perfect and accept that we can all be hypocritical. We are a group of ordinary people from every background enjoying a relationship with God and being changed by Him.
